The Indianapolis Star wanted to partner with Pepsi to promote the town for the 2012 Super Bowl. The idea was to create a scavenger hunt with Indy Star’s customers. We hid the ‘golden’ cans in grocery stores and placed an image of the printed ‘golden’ can throughout the newspaper pages. This would not only boost Indy Star’s print sales but also increase Pepsi’s soda sales. The winners received tickets to the Super Bowl.
